Hamlin appoints new Director of Global Sales and Marketing

Hamlin Electronics has appointed Simon Pitkin to the role of Director of Global Sales and Marketing. Simon, who has been with the company for twenty years, was promoted from the position of Sales and Marketing Manager.

Hamlin Electronics is based in Diss, Norfolk and supplies a range of standard catalogue and custom designed sensing solutions to automotive and industrial customers.

Simon began working with the company in 1988 as an Internal Sales Representative and, following a number of internal promotions, is now resopnsible for overseeing all of Hamlin's international sales and marketing.

Simon said: "This is a really exciting time for the company with new technologies, products and markets. I'm delighted to be taking on the global sales and marketing role."

Hamlin has support and manufacturing facilities in Europe, Mexico, China, India and North America. The company has over 800 employees worldwide and an annual turnover of $70 million.
