Sensor Applications
Hamlin sensing solutions meet the demanding needs of a wide range of manufacturers seeking to improve and enhance product performance or production processes.
Automotive Applications
From crash detection to screen wash level detection, sensors are being used to allow vehicle management systems to improve safety, performance and convenience. More Detail.
Consumer Goods
More sophisticated devices in the home require monitoring and measurement of everything from the speed of an exercise bike to the flow of a shower. More Detail.
Industrial Applications
Remote reading of utility meters, safety interlocks, fuel monitoring are among the many requirements met by a Hamlin custom designed sensor solution. More Detail.
Pressurized Water Systems and Power Showers
In countries where water mains pressure is relatively low, the UK is a good example, pumps can be used to pressurize the whole or part of the domestic water system. An example of this is the power shower. A Hamlin sensor is used to detect the start of water flow when the shower valve is opened. This activates the booster pump delivering an excellent high-pressure shower.
Seatbelt Tension Sensor
Tension sensors are used to help classify the type of occupant in a vehicle seat. They can be used to determine if the passenger seat is occupied by a child seat secured with a tightly cinched belt or person occupying the seat. The result can be used to enable or disable the passenger airbag as required.
