Sensor Development
Phase One – Design
Multidisciplinary design teams deliver high quality products that beat customer expectations, on time and on budget.
The design phase covers both the product and the proposed manufacturing process so that issues such as production capacity are addressed along with risk analysis, verification of design and testing procedures.
Designs are optimized using a range of tools, including 3D CAD, Simulation, mould flow analysis, FEA (Finite Element analysis), feasibility testing and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect analysis).
Concept samples are produced to test the design and verify performance at the limit of tolerances.
The manufacturing strategy is set out with potential process flow and the manufacturing cell design defined and reviewed.
